Our Facilities

Located by the lake is the Reception and Shop. The Shop is open daily through the season and has a fine selection of provisions including newspapers, milk, eggs, wine and beer as well as a selection of recreational goods. We also sell and exchange calor gas, if required we can arrange delivery for you.

There is a host of information of our local attractions and walks in the vicinity including our own wildlife walks through the woodlands for you to enjoy. Outside reception, opposite the boat park, is a landscaped lawned area leading down to the lakeshore, with benches and picnic tables.

The main launching slipway and piers are located in this area, please enquire at reception about access. We also have internet access on the Park, please enquire at reception for further information. We are on hand to help you make the most of your holiday.

Touring Area

The touring area, ideal for touring caravans and motor homes with/without awnings is situated conveniently for the shower and toilet block. These are maintained to the highest standard and incorporate baby changing facilities, washing up area, laundry and family room with disabled facilities.

Each pitch has allocated space for a car, boat as well outside space for sitting out enjoying a barbeque. A public telephone is located at the crossroads, so you can leave the mobile at home! With five jetties to choose from, boat launching and access to watersport activities as well as our nature walks, we provide one of the most idyllic locations to holiday, within the Lake District National Park.

Please call into reception for full details on our boat launching facilities and use of the piers. Fishing is also permitted from the shores, with the appropriate licences which are available locally.
