Date of Visit: July 2009 Unit: Motorhome Fantastic site, great for messing about on the lake. Shop very good, bought a large dinghy with extras for a mere 30 quid all in and the loan of a pump to inflate it. Showers very good. Pitches massive. Only five miles from Bowness, great walks for the dogs, the site is bigger than it looks, lots of statics hidden in the tree's Kids rowed over to the sites own little island, bit of Swallows and Amazons. Will stay again loved it.

Date of Visit: June 2009 Unit: Motorhome Only spent one night at this site as we were touring the Lakes. Had a fantastic pitch right on the edge of the lake, with hook up and water. Staff at site were very helpful and friendly. Lovely well stocked shop with good opening hours. Lovely very clean shower and toilet block. Fantastic location right by the lake, ideal if you had a boat and enjoyed water sports. Good walks in the woods for dogs, but a bit steep if you are not very fit.

Just stayed here aug 2009, superb quiet site. Excellent for lake. Very nice and friendly staff, site kept very clean. Kids loved it will be back.
