Information for touring caravans
The touring area is ideal for touring caravans and motor homes with/without awnings and is situated conveniently for the on site facilities listed below.
Please note we do not accept tents or pup tents on touring pitches. There are no camping facilities.
There are no hidden charges in our touring tariffs for 2018 (see tariff table below) they include persons, awning, electric, parking on pitch and dogs (max two except by arrangement) plus one extra car (although this may not be on the pitch itself). Our touring season runs from 1st March to 14th November 2018.
A public telephone is located at the crossroads, so you can leave the mobile at home. With six jetties to choose from, boat launching and access to watersport activities as well as our nature walks. We provide one of the most idyllic locations to holiday, within the Lake District National Park.
Each pitch has allocated space for a car and some pitches also have space for a boat. We do not hire boats on the Park, charge apply for boats brought to site, see below. All pitches have outside space for sitting out and enjoying a barbeque.
As a Hill of Oaks Park visitor we will also give you a 10% discount voucher to our sister attractions, Ullswater 'Steamers' and the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway; two fantastic days out in the Lake District. Visit Reception to claim your 10% voucher.

NOTICE TO ALL CUSTOMERS STAYING BETWEEN 10/09/18 - 20/09/18
There will be road work and closures from Monday 10th September to Thursday 20th September on the A592 approaching Hill of Oaks. The road will be closed 18:30 to 05:00 for these 10 days.
The road closure on Friday 14th will be from 22:00. Highway authorities have acknowledged that guests staying with us will be allowed access approaching from Bowness and Newby Bridge. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
