The main reception and shop are located by the lakeshore. The fully licensed shop is open daily through the season and has a fine selection of provisions including newspapers, milk, eggs, alcoholic beverages as well as a selection of recreational goods. We also sell and exchange Calor gas. There is a host of local information, visitor attraction leaflets and walking information including our own wildlife walks through our woodlands. Outside reception, opposite the boat park, is a landscaped lawned area leading down to the lakeshore, with benches and picnic tables. Please view our access statement here. We now have Wi-Fi with over 95% coverage of the park. There is also a Wi-Fi hotspot located in the main reception, why not pop in for a coffee and browse the web. The Wi-Fi service is managed by a third party and is chargeable. Please search on your device and follow the instructions, there is a help email available on the landing page.
The touring area is suitable for touring caravans and motor homes with/without awnings, conveniently situated near the shower and toilet facilities. These are maintained to the highest standard and incorporate baby changing , washing up , laundry facilities including an accessible family room. Each pitch has allocated space for a car and some pitches have space for a boat. All pitches have outside space for sitting out and enjoying a barbeque. Touring season from 1st March - 13th November.
We have a safe and secure play area with a range of equipment specifically designed to suit most children from nursery upwards. This area is fenced and off limits to dogs. We do ask that children are adequately supervised so they can enjoy their play. There is an area set aside for older children to play ball games.
The main launching slipway and piers are located near the main reception building. Please enquire at the main reception about access to slipways and piers. There is a total of six piers and two slipways on site.
