Our African-inspired two-bedroom safari tents offer a fun and unique experience in the Lake District. They are fully furnished with all the essentials for a comfortable stay, so you can pack as you usually would. However, during the colder months, we advise bringing additional layers and blankets to ensure you remain warm and snug beside the log burner.

Booking information

Available stays: The safari tents are available from March until early November. Stay from Friday for 3, 7, 10 or 14 nights or from Monday for 4, 7, 10 or 14 nights.
Weekend breaks: Arrive on a Friday or Saturday for 2 nights.
Arrival/departure: Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is at 10am.

Dogs welcome

For short stays, the charge for dogs is £25 per dog/per stay. For stays of 7 nights or more, the charge is £40 per dog/per stay. A maximum of 2 dogs is allowed.

With two bedrooms, an additional cabin-inspired double bed, and their own decking area, our safari tents have plenty of room for up to six guests, plus a four-legged friend. Each one has its own wood burning stove and cosy Chesterfield sofas - the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the fells.
